StoryTown- oh- StoryTown

Many moons ago, we adopted the StoryTown reading series. I poured my heart and soul into creating resources for each week's lessons and always felt good sharing my creations with others.  However, we are no longer using StoryTown and I've really struggled as to what to do with my website and resources.

For now, I've decided to leave my PowerPoints and interactive links.  However, I'm in the process of taking down the worksheets that I've created because I can adapt them to the reading series I'm using now.  Plus, let's be honest- some of those worksheets need a face lift.  haha!

I will try to work quickly to post them on TPT.  Please consider following me on my TPT store.  (See link on the right side of the screen.)

Until next time.....

  1. Oh NO! I am so sad! Our school system has refused to adopt a new series at this time so we are stuck with Story Town. I really like using your vocabulary Power Points but I was using them week by week. Are they still available anywhere?

    1. OK! Great! I could only find Themes 1 and 2, so I will check again! I wish our school system had adopted a new series. Wonders was one that they considered but then they decided not to get anything. We need new Common Core materials so badly! We are doing our best to make StoryTown work! I was afraid resources that we are finding would soon start getting deleted as everyone begins to change series! Thanks again for sharing!

  3. I'm so sorry! You are right. I forgot that I took down the other themes because I wanted to edit them. I will add them back up again within the next day or two.

As for Common Core, I hear ya! So far, the Wonders Series and Storytown seem to be pretty similar. I'm anxious to see how the rest of the year will turn out.

  4. Thank you SOOOO much for putting them back up. Just our luck, the other site we use for a lot of resources took its StoryTown page down recently. I can't wait for our school system to move forward and choose a series that aligns with all the new things we have to teach and incorporate.
